When you say not hard to keep at top. How are the top ones determined?

They have a few different places to rank. 1. Downloads
2. User rating (1-5 stars)
3. New Gadgets The third one you can only be top of for a short time when you submit it. The second one you can rank in the "all gadgets" section and the "gadget category" section for your category.

What language are gadgets written in? Can you take existing php or perl code or dot net or java and convert it into a gadget? Is there an SDK or something? I think there is good potential for the gadget idea, but hope at the same time these gadgets are not spyware bots or anything.. hopefully vista security is in place to mitigate the risk.

Loads just fine for me from several different proxies. You might want to try clearing your cache and/or accessing via a different proxy.

Yes, not sure why you would want to pay gadgetspark hundreds of $ if you can use a programme like Amnesty Generator to generate one for you with in minutes and for free.

David: Many thanks for the mention. DumpedbyG: Why you would want to use a generator made for OSX widgets to attempt to make vista sidebar gadgets I don't know. You can use a program that builds an ultra simple gadget all you like. The Gadgets that users keep on their desktop will be interactive and dynamic. Let's see... Which is going to make you more money?
