Help: Need to remove old "Network"
my laptop is all messed up

Msg#: 3160052 posted 8:29 am on Nov 16, 2006 (gmt 0)

I have created a few, now old, networks via XP's "Wireless Network Setup Wizard." I am having major problems with "Duplicate IPs" and connections dropped. Do these ghost networks have an IP assigned as well? I use a router at home and it works off and on, more off. However I am having problems connecting even at school, especially when the signal is not as good. Others seem to have no problem.

The reason I know I have this old network, is that when I try to add a new network (just to test), it prompts me to add another computer to the old one.

Any suggestions?

You have the reconfigure it again
Delete all your networks and do that again with carrefull.
