I purchased VPS hosting. I set the "A Record" for my domain (at a well known cheap internet registrar) to the IP address for my server.
I went into IIS, and set up a new website. I placed a test index.htm file into the home directory for the new website.
But instead of the requests going to the new website, they are going to wwwroot which is the default webisite which is stopped.
What did I do wrong?
