I've had a search but I'm not sure what the keywords need to be for the results I'm after...
My domain is on a Windows server and is administrable via a Helm control panel.
After reading all the www vs non-www scare stories in the SEO forums, I think I'd better do something about it.
Helm allows me to do a standard 301 redirect at the server, so [myolddomain.com...] to [mynewdomain.com...] but what about www to non-www on the same domain?
I've got full access to DNS management so would it be possible to do it with that? If so, would that still allow me to transparently redirect files on the domain? Eg. [mydomain.com...] redirects to [mydomain.com...]
I don't believe my host has ISAPI Rewrite (or equivalent) installed (it doesn't show up on an installed component check) and installing additional software isn't an option.

Further to the above, I've found this method [webmasterworld.com] and it sounds exactly like what I am trying to achieve... but I don't have remote access to the IIS snap-in so can't configure it directly.
