Japanese encoding in JMail

I set up a form using JMail that accepts Japanese characters. Currently I am using Shift_JIS encoding. Preview shows the right characters but when I receive a text in my Gmail account it returns garbage message.

Anyone who has idea how to fix this? Many thanks!
