Tired of iPhoto launching every time you charge your phone on your Mac? You can change that, after iPhoto launches, quit it and open Image Capture (in your applications folder).

On the lower left you will see a popup with your iPhones name and "Connecting this iPhone opens:" choose "no application", or if you want, another app. You can also choose to delete images automatically after import from here.

Thank you! I never charge the phone via connection to a device, but there are times when I might be doing that. I would have never thought to try that.

It was driving me crazy. I use my iPhone as my main business phone line and having to wait for iPhoto to launch and then quit every time I docked it with my iMac was a total pain.
