The 27" has the same resolution as the old 30" apple cinema display (a dazzling display, expensive as well). The 27"imac now has the same number of pixels and the same price as that display. Time to give it a good look-over at an apple shop -once they have them-. Although I need less computers, not more.

msg:4011800 | 8:39 pm on Oct 22, 2009 (gmt 0) | Four memory sockets in the new iMacs... So 16GB max in 4 x 4GB once 4GB modules stop costing the Earth, and 8GB in 4x2GB now for a reasonable price. Unless you buy it from Apple of course, they want £160 for an extra 2 x 2GB... I'd be gutted if I'd just bought one of the previous models :)
