i develop on my MAMP localhost and for browser testing id like to be able to access my local sites in my VM Ware fusion virtual machine.

obviously when i enter [localhost...] in winxp IE my sites dont load. im not sure what i want to do is possible since the VM is in effect isolated from the OSX operating system.

anyone know how to do this?

Does the MAMP use OS X's web sharing? If so, in that preference panel, it tells you what the IP address of the web share is. That's so you can access it from other machines on your network. You should be able to access it from inside the VM as well. I just tried it and it does work in Parallels.
