Very cool. I dislike cell phones because of their non-intuitive interfaces. This looks like a breeze to use. | iPhone’s accelerometer detects when you rotate the device from portrait to landscape, then automatically changes the contents of the display, so you immediately see the entire width of a web page or a photo in its proper landscape aspect ratio. |
| Smart.

This is definitely a cool gadget. It's really the Newton as it was meant to be, just marketed as a phone. My trekkiest friends are saying it should really be called the Apple Tricorder. To bring this back the topic of webmastering for a moment, how about this for a web browsing platform? Platform: OS X Browser: Safari. Screen resolution 320 by 480 at 160 ppi

Any word on whether Apple will be releasing, say, an 80 gb iPod with a screen this size?

| There are Apple rumors out there that such a product might be released even before the phone is. Or perhaps it's a miniature Mac that size. Or else a tablet Mac. Maybe all three. If you want to know for sure, better get a job at Apple.
