I am dealing with a client who sells widgets, and has multiple branches in Ireland. I recently completed a bulk addition to Google Places which was approved, and filled in as much of the relevant info as possible. So , if I do a search on www.google.ie on "widgets Limerick", I do not see one of the branches in Google Places. There appears to be just one competitor in the Google PLaces / Google Maps search result. None of the local branches I have submitted listings for show up in the results. So, my question is, what is Google taking into account if I search for "widgets Limerick" or "widget shop in Limerick" in relation to Google places? How does Google determine what listings to show in the results for places? [edited by: goodroi at 11:12 pm (utc) on Apr 10, 2012] [edit reason] Widgetized, please no specific keywords [/edit]
