When I saw the thread title in my reader, I was coming to post that link, but I guess you saw it. Lots of reviews disappear unfortunately. It's a HUGE pain point for SMBs. Sometimes it's just temporary so I hope your find their way back and reattach to your listing. Linda Buquet

I'm trying to sort out a listing that has spilled into two others, e.g. my name in a review and cell phone number in someone else's listing! Search for my business name and you get their listing! Google Maps is simply overwhelmed with bugs.

anallawalla, Yep it's buggy! Did your listing completely disappear into theirs or is your listing still complete and correct? What do you see when you click view my listing on maps from your dashboard? Search maps by phone in this format (555) 222-3333. If the other listing comes up and yours does not they are merged and nothing you can do to fix it. You need to get G to unmerge them. Use Google's Fix a Problem Troubleshooter (Be sure be logged into the same account your Place page is in) Click this link: [support.google.com...] I have verified - Yes >> I have used report a problem - Yes >> then select one of the following options depending on situation. If listing is still live but has someone else's info mixed in - Select top option - Listing data - THEN CLICK LINK bottom of page that says "use this form to specify correct business info" If listing is gone because it's totally merged into the other listing, then select my listing is missing Google will typically get back to you within a week or so but it can take a few weeks after that for the merge to resolve. Hi Panthro, No, but a small consolation is sometimes it's a temporary loss and they reattach to your listing. One thing the help doc does not mention that I asked to have added was that sometimes a dupe can crop up and steal your reviews. Have you searched maps by phone and then by name and city to try to find any dupes to see if they have your reviews? Linda Buquet

Ours did come back. I know this was a while ago, but just wanted to report, bc this just happened to someone else i know with a lot of reviews. I'll try doing the map search you suggested Linda. UPDATE: No dupes found. Just all about 100 reviews gone. I've noticed on the Google user forums that one thing that may trigger a wipeout of reviews is having a lot more than everyone else. This is definitely the situation in my friends' case. They have (had) over 100 reviews and are now down to 1. I think the closest competitor had 10. No trickery going on, though. They have a ton of clients and have done a good job soliciting feedback.
