Need Help Regarding Google Places Page

Hi everybody,

after several attempts to verify the site via PIN postcard on behalf of the owner (which was previously set method for our page), no card has came to our door steps still. so now plan to request another pin via phone SMS method.

But now i cannot do that also, its showing again and again:

System Error
We're sorry, but we are unable to serve your request at this time. Please try back in a few minutes.

Please guide me on this.

Looking forward to anyone help.

The system error is a known issue that's been going on for awhile now. Sometimes with errors like that, trying other browsers can help - but not always.

There are a number of other MAJOR bugs right now too. One I uncovered yesterday that was affecting lots of users was the double phone # bug. Every time anyone made even a tiny Places edit their phone data would get corrupted and double up. I contacted Google and they fixed it in a day.

However other bugs like the one you experienced, the area served bug and some others still remain.

Theory is there is a big update on the way. Things typically go wonky on Places when a new update is coming.
