I did this about a month ago for a UK address and the postcard option was on the last step of the verification process, as it was for most other countries.

I was also do the same thing and i has the option last month..but yesterday and also today i have not noticed the option. have you checked today?

Checked it just now and it is showing all three verification method at my end.

Not sure what can be the issue. Create another listing in the same LBC and see if it is giving the postcard option. IF yes, then delete the current form (as it is of no use unless verified).
