Welcome to WebmasterWorld I would have thought that just having just your own site listed by Google Maps/Local would be a good thing - as you will want people to go to your site rather than to sites such as Internet Yellow Pages sites that may show competitors too. Are you concerned that a lack of web pages related to your listing may put people off in some way? (or is it something else) Speaking from the other side of the fence (in that we appear many times in the related web pages on maps/local) I'd say that, as long as you do a good job with content on your site (which sadly, many small/local businesses do not), you should not be concerned that Google is not giving others the opportunity to 'sell' your services for you. There are instances when links to sites other than actual business can be useful (e.g. genuine reviews or business directories that collect a lot of info on what a business offers) - but these should be reinforcing the message on your website.

Thank You for the reply ! I want to add more web pages to improve my ranking in local listings. As far as I understand is that if I register in different directories, google will find and add those to my google local profile?

Is there any body out there that has any Knowledge of this !
as last my last post was locked, and sent back here which as no answers !
it's what every body else has on business listings page helps you get up the listings
i dont have a website yet
so want to have local directories links to get my key words in
there are 9 pages of compition ! im only on page 5 !

Long time back I searched about it on the Net however, could not find any way to add our web-pages in our listing (I hope you are taking about the webpages that show up whn we click on more info) What I know is that this is completely selected by Google on the basis of relevancy of the pages related to the business. At times I have seen that some of the webpages listed are from authority site in that business/niche

yes i do mean the webpages that show up when i click on more info.
im on yell.com and have sighned up to local directories like other have but they never get added
i thought google was supposed to search for them,
ive made sure my address is spelt & set out the same.
