Have you listed the event(s) on the various event calendars on related sites, if there are any for the type event?

Local Chambers of Commerce $200.00 per event? And most of that spent offline? Doesn't leave you with much, huh?

Its working well on facebook networks at the moment. A little tip someone gave me is to get all your contacts to change the status daily to variations of [name] is looking forward to [event name] as they post updates on all your networks and contacts , a pity you cannot use html in a status Google Maps is pretty easy to optimise on but it only seems to show up the listings on Google maps... >Have you listed the event(s) on the various event calendars on related sites, Im doing this manually, copying and pasting from facebook, its a lot of work each month, a pity they cannot read the facebook events directly but even if you make them public they cannot be crawled. Yep its a small budget! Its a non-for-profit thing.
