What's the best way to migrate parts of a site from cpanel to cpanel?
Moving from one cpanel web host account to another?

I'd like to move all the websites, datases and associated files, such as emails, autoresponders, email forwarders, from one cpanel web host to another.

As the sites will be moved to a sub-folder of the 'new' hosting account, I can't just do a complete standard backup and restore within the cpanel facilities I presume (otherwise they will be restored to the home directory, where there is an existing site).

How can I move all the files over in the easiest way please? There are many hundreds of them, so doing it manually would take a long time.

Is there a way of moving over the email and associated files (autoresponders, email forwarders)?

Incidentally, will scripts in cgi-bin usually continue to work on the new host or will they need to be ammended?

Thanks a million in advance.

Not the detailed answer you are looking for, but the last time I changed webhosts I asked the new webhost to assist, and they were happy to move two problem sites for me.
