hi , i have purchased a dedicated some days ago and till now i still confused how to set it up , the support doesn't give any help , can someone please give a hand installing the whm and cpanel correctly

Not enough information to suggest what you're doing.

However, with most linux distributions these days you can install software pretty much automatically. You just need the install command for you distribution.

For example, on mandriva linux, you could probably just type: urpmi cpanel
and it would be installed.

I think some distributions use something like yum cpanel. Not sure.

In any event,if your talking real beginner stuff, find the package control manager for your linux distribution and try and install using that.

I see whm means you are running Cpanel? What flavor distro is at the core? CentOS Red Hat, Debian? Also what are your goals, is this for a single site or are you setting up a hosting shop?
