Anyone that can recomend some software for streaming on a Linux server that works.

We will send live and film clips.

I just set up my first streaming video. It's a 23 minute MPG, which I converted to FLV using ffmpeg under Linux. Then I installed a flash-based player on my site. I used JCPlayer, which is free for non-commercial use.

Something like this would probably work for any number of clips, but for live broadcasts, you'd need a streaming server.
