looking for web panel software

Hi all,

I'm looking for some webhosting control panel software to make available to our customers.

We're running Apache on Linux (CentOS), and want the users to have access to stuff like logs, ability to install apps such as blog software, forums, etc (that we will provide), and have visibility of their hosted sites and sql databases.

Nothing overly fancy.

The problem I've found to date is that all the packages I've used seem to think the web server is a dedicated VPS-type box and inherently take control and install all their own stuff, which I don't want. E.g.; we already have a webmail server and it's separate. In fact all email solutions are completely separate to the webhosting.

I've played with Ravencore, and Virtualmin more recently, and both seem to install a boatload of extra crap. The latter even installed its own set of firewall rules. :(

Is there anything that exists that is just a front end for web services, but designed solely for end users? Free is good, but if it costs money, I must at least be able to access the source.

Any recommendations that save me from reinventing the wheel appreciated.

thanks
