Automatically mount network drive?

Is it possible to have my desktop machine automatically mount a NAS when the NAS is turned on?

Without more information I'd suggest creating a shell script and setting it as a cron job to periodically mount the drive. You can also edit /etc/fstab and add an entry to mount the drive at startup.
