webhosting using 404 janey msg:3318428 9:36 pm on Apr 22, 2007 (gmt 0) I created a 404 error page for my site yet it still displays the hosts errorpage in the background..so annoying.
How can remove it?

From the looks of it, I don't think you yourself can configure it any differently than it is.
But I think the host should remove the unregistered software that's mentioned.

Find out if your hosting provider allows for you to have a Custom 404 Page Not Found or Custom Error Documents. If so, find out which HTTP server they are running and hopefully it is Apache [ httpd.apache.org] ;)
And Welcome to WebmasterWorld, janey.
