I get an error saying CC is not in $PATH. I am assuming this means my PATH environment variable isn't saying where CC is. The problem is I don't know where it is at all. I did a find for cc and only found it in the folder
/usr/share/screen/utf8encodings
I doubt this is the correct one. Yet I hear you need CC to put Apache on a server, which I have. Any ideas?

You need a c compiler. Install gcc.

Not necessarily. It's much easier to install Apache, etc, already compiled. It depends on your Linux distribution though.
