Is R-FX Networks dead?

Sorry if this posting is inappropriate, but I've been unable to get any definative information on this. It would seem of interest to a large number of people here.

R-FX Networks is a provider of a number of free, open-source security software packages for Linux, including the popular Advanced Policy Firewall. They also offer a for-fee installation service and consulting services.

I emailed them several months ago to ask some pre-purchase questions about their "Linux Security Bundle", where they install a number of security solutions on your server for a very reasonable price.

I never got a reply. Some posts on their bulletin board were of the nature of "hello, anybody there?" also with no responses.

Subsequently, the "forums" feature of their site has been shut off.

Obviously, I am MOST reluctant to order any services from them through their online ordering system. :) I also have some reservations about installing these tools myself, given that they may have no further support.

The site is still there, with considerable traffic. For example, right now they indicate 20 browsing users.

The bigger question is, are they continuing to support and develop their security tools? Or should be be looking to move-on to other tools? Has anybody taken over any of their projects?
