Nice find :) If you receive a link from twitter it will be no-followed but if someone shares that link on a blog it will receive PR.

Yes. Search engines passes page rank to shorten url as they used 301 redirection to divert the traffic.

Not all URL shorteners use 301 redirects, some use 302 redirects.

@jaffstar I agree with you. Links from twitter are no follow and won't give any pr benefit but links from blogs(shortened links) will still benefit for pr.
