Credit links lost their punch for helping you rank about seven years ago. Supposedly just a fraction of the PR may pass. One link from the BBC isn't a tonic anyway. It's good for the receiver but don't expect much after that.

well I realise one decent link isnt going to solve any problems - im not really worried about SEO on the whole anyway, but the chain from bbc to me interested me. So i think im going to go with Wheel (when i have sorted the horrible code that is required as the favour :( edit: to clarify, my post was really related to wether the link value was worth anything, as i dont want to be associated to with a very badly coded site
