First, I hope that I am at right place with this question. I read forum but don't see answer which I search.
I have site in my language (serbian) about some reality show from my country. That show will begin at january and want to my site be first at SE when show start. I guess that it will be very popular and want to take users which search for that (number of users will be, I think 30-40000 monthly). I want to put site to be at first place in S. engines. Now it is first for some words, but I am scare that some other site have better backlinks etc. All other sites about this words are new.
Can anyone advice me what I to do, how to get more quality backlinks?
Can you help me? I will pay if need.
Can you reccomend me some good directory submission software or site?
You can to PM me.
Thank you very much,

if you want to get quality links ,make sure your content is unique and user attractive.
if you do not know SEO very much ,the best way to do is outsourcing.

I think you can learn most of what you need right here on this site.
But I think you have a problem, there is not enough time until January 2011 to significantly improve your site's rankings. There are what, just about three weeks until the start of January.

Mark_A, company which will start this show publish that name of show ago 2 weeks and I and all others who make same sites start on that time to make sites. I want now to be better than other same or similary sites.
I know that can to find here at site how to make this what I want. I ask, do I to pay to add site into directories or no?
Do I to pay to my site link be in some good PR sites o no?
And someone to see do my code is good as SEO. :(

You'll need content and links.
Read everything there is to be read about the program (the participants, the History, the backstage gossips, the money involved, etc, etc); then rewrite all the information adding your (hopefully insightful) point of views.
Then go around looking for links. Try to exchange links with related sites. Go to the popular blogs which write about TV shows and try to get a link (offer to write a post, pay for the post, etc); the better your content, the easier to get the link.

Did you give thought to how you are going to monetize this traffic? I sometimes visit sites about a favorite TV program, but only to find out if the show was cancelled, data about a program (like who directed it), etc. Basically, stuff that costs the site bandwidth and doesn't earn them a cent.
As far as ranking for the term, if you place the pages on an established site then you're going to have an advantage. For instance, if you have a site that is about reality tv shows, then you can add that program to the existing site. Building a new site from scratch and building links to it is starting out with a disadvantage.
Nevertheless, focus on the content. If you can do something unique, like get interviews, even if it's an email interview, with people associated with the tv program, then that will help generate links from bloggers and other websites associated with entertainment.
Creating content that is comprehensive is generally a good way to go for laying the foundation of a link building effort.
