| Question about using videos for links

I'm sure this question has been asked and answered before, but I sure can't find it.
I'm thinking of putting videos on my site relating to the pages' topics. Besides doing it for the sake of the site's visitors, I'm also thinking of it as a way to get inbound links. I figure if I offer the videos via a feed or some other way, and I can embed a link back to the on-topic page, the links will make the effort worthwhile.
I thought about getting the videos on Youtube, but that would be a link from just one site.
Is it possible to put a link into a video that can't be removed, but can be followed the the SE's?
