This question is asked every week: How do I get links. If you are serious about obtaining links then best place to start is our Link Development Library [webmasterworld.com]. Take a few days or weeks to read through every single post in the library. You will then have a better feel for it.
Your question is too general to answer in a single discussion. It's like asking "How do I cook dinner?" in a recipes forum, know what I mean? ;)

Your best bet is to go to the bank and get a loan for about $40,000 and start buying all the pr7+ dofollow links you can find over the next several months using the keywords you want to rank for. That should do the job for ya lol.

The toolbar PR value does seem to have less impact these days. Why not switch it off for a bit and try and find good IBLs that would be a good 'fit' for your site regardless of a 'public' PR value?

If this is tough, then don't quit your day job, cause it gets alot tougher:)

i really don’t know from where in the world you get this links.
The developer won't know, the content writer is the one who knows the topic and knows where the relevant authority sites are. This is the problem with treating SEO as a purely technical issue.

hey there..i am quite new to this..
At first start backlinkin from blogspots..and such sites containing 3/4 PR..at least 10 of them..and write original stuffs (quality content), then digg all of them.. twit them..make a chat room in your site..then at end you'll find incoming backlink request...hard work pays off man!

Did you click the link at the top of this thread (and forum) that reads Library?
This is where it goes...
It works for me.
