A couple of questions on affiliate links westman7 msg:3941283 9:00 pm on Jun 26, 2009 (gmt 0) OK. So first do links like http://www.example.com/?3838383 bring any juice to the http://www.example.com/ page or the SE's interpret http://www.example.com/?3838383 as a different page?
In that case if I do a 301 redirect from http://www.example.com/?3838383 to http://www.example.com/ - would that bring in any juice?
I'm asking because I'll be launching an affiliate program and it'd be cool if the affiliate links bring in some PR to my site.

I would not recommend doing 301 redirects to your home page. You should leave them as stand-alone pages, each having unique content, page title and meta description. If you do a site search on Google for bestbuy (site:bestbuy.com) you see they have over 700k pages indexed, each being a unique product offering.
