Links in press releases gsmith msg:3891066 8:47 pm on Apr 12, 2009 (gmt 0) I've seen in other threads the name mentioned, so I'll mention it too. Press releases from PR Web can contain anchor tags linking back to your own web site. However, the anchor tags look like this:
<a title="My Company" target="_blank" onclick="linkClick( this.href );" href="http://www.mycompany.com">My Company</a>
(BTW, I didn't try to figure out what the function linkClick does, but clicking on the link
does take you to that website.)
Let's say that this press release winds up on a certain weblog. So far as search-engine rankings are concerned, will this count as a link to My Company's website?
