With the Google Webmaster Tools can do a lot of things with links, some of which include:
Report Paid Links (Be an advocate for the Whitehats)
Remove URL's (Your own of course)
Set Crawl Rate (Indirect to linkage I know)
Set Preferred Domain (the backbone of linkage)
Submit Sitemaps (A Must)
Reinclusion Request (I'm sorry and I promise I'll never do it again) In using Google Webmaster Tools and looking at the external links that Google is reporting, our number is greater than theirs. Do they use some criteria to say these guys are pointing to you here, here and here or do they run these links through a filter and only show quality linkage?
But that's not my ultimate question. As a whitehat I would like for Google to know about all of my external links. Wouldn't it be nice if we could say to Google, "These links that are pointing to me are quality/valid/whitehate/etc. links and would like for you to consider them as external links." Don't you think that this would increase the relevancy/quality score of one's site? ;)
