Hello guys first I would like to hear from anyone on the services from PR Web I know that they offer a good looking service and can lead to a lot of back links. But can this hurt my website?

i.e too many back links in a short period of time, unrelated links, low ranking sites linking back, bad neighborhoods linking back to me, links from Spammer Sites and Splogs.

Now has anyone had any experience on these two Press Release sites and how has it affected links that drive:
A.) Traffic
B.) Page Rank Juice
C.) Branding
Out on a limb I have 2 weeks to choose to go with both or use PPC

I truly wish that were the case. :)

I'm not joking.

Martini what are you saying, does this really help a website, I am inclined to buy there most powerful package if it will help. Can you give me some feedback on what happened if someone really did use it.

I think he is saying it would be too easy to remove your competitors from the serps.

I used a press release service (not one of those two, another one that seemed to have a reputation for being better than them).

This was earlier this year. Over the following six months I had virtually no growth. The site was consistently reasonably fast growing for the previous two years, and is growing fast again now.

Personally, I am never touching a press release service again. The links get pushed off prominent pages into archives soon enough and most of them will not be that relevant to your site. Do they do enough good to be worth the risk that they will do damage.
