Linking from Sup Pages Instead of Home Page F_Rose msg:3195885 2:56 pm on Dec 21, 2006 (gmt 0) We have some offers to get listed on Sub Pages instead of the home page.
The page rank on the sub pages are pretty high.
I was wondering if that would be OK, if search engines will get to follow these links just as they follow links from the home page.

Search engine will definitely follow the links if the sub pages have good ranking or pr. F_Rose msg:3196513 9:35 pm on Dec 21, 2006 (gmt 0)
Thank you for your response. F_Rose msg:3196514 9:37 pm on Dec 21, 2006 (gmt 0)
How would you rate a PR of 5? OK, Good or Great? seoram msg:3196522 9:40 pm on Dec 21, 2006 (gmt 0)
I see that its not the page rank that matters. See whether that page is ranked for the relavent keyword in google, and what position. take a look at the content. Also have the link in the content rather than the side bars Vaibhav msg:3200356 11:36 pm on Dec 26, 2006 (gmt 0)
Dont run after PR
RELEVANCY matters MORE than PR

A site that is relevant with a poor PR, will my link even get noticed by the search engines?
What about being linked from a major new site, is that considered a quality link?
