I'm looking into building some basic software to manage networks of links, to ensure that I'm not overlinking etc.
I'm wondering if such a thing exists. I'm not looking for software to help find backlinks but something more like a relational database that can do visualization (like visio maybe).
Anyone know if such a bird exists (I'm pretty sure it doesn't).

There are many softwares available both downloadable and appplication service (web based).. the best way to find them is google "manage links".

99.99 % of them are reciprocal based though.

Look for a script or service that allows for full editorial control so you don't have to reciprocate a link if you don't want to.
