I think it works on a logarithmic scale so 10xPR2 = 1xPR3 and 100xPR2 = 1xPR4 or something to that effect.

Thanks guys, did realise 2 x pr 5 wouldn't = pr 10 but thought it might be closer to the mark at the lower pr levels.....the more i think about it though yea it was a bit of a silly question. appreciate the feedback

That thread is a good one to set the stage. Pay attention to the point about not all PR X's being equal and outgoing links.

There are many other factors which come into play. If the links are good links from non-link pages on the same topic as your site then I'd say two PR2 are definately worth one PR4.
