Any one else tried this before? Are there any other good places to sell my links? Will creating links to clean sites lower my rankings?

If you sell your links on ebay, you are committed to fullfilling your contract. There is no guarantee that the site you are selling a link to will be "clean." Are you okay with that?

No, my description will state that I will only link to clean sites.

"Your web site must be in English and family friendly. No adult, casino, gambling, prescription, PR0, grey PR, or spammy web sites. "

Also I'm trying to decide on wetter to offer the links package for 6 months or one year. Any thoughts?

What is a spammy website? What is a clean site? Those terms are so open to interpretation that they may prove virtually useless as prerequisites for participating in the auction.

What if the winner of the auction has a PR 6, but their backlinks are fed by triangular link schemes, or is daisy chained with a dozen sites they own, and/or has a twenty page link partner section, etc.?

What if it's a site that has been penalized by Google? How will you know? Please don't answer that you will set requirements about the above, because there are many more. A ton more. I'm just showing you how there are considerations you have not anticipated.

Are you still okay with linking to that?

What kind of website operator is buying links from eBay? Is Google monitoring these sales?

Ebay might be an idea. Try Linkworth too.

I put cruise travel sites under the same category tree as the ones you would not link to, but that's just me.

Link Adage is much more focused than ebay with more savvy buyers and sellers. I have found lots of junk on ebay.

Hi,

Do services like text-link-ads.com, link adage, link borkers, etc etc only display links inside a "advertisement box"

or can you purchase links from these services that are within the naturally content and flow of the site?

Thanks
