Welcome to WebmasterWorld, samzi :) Let's try to avoid discussing the individual keywords/websites, as per the keyword forum charter [webmasterworld.com]. That said, "first page" may well be the issue here. Realistically, you need a top three position to be getting any significant percentage of the search traffic available. Even a top 10 on Google can deliver surprisingly little traffic on competitive keywords, particularly if the higher listings are a good fit for the keywords. Of course, Yahoo's traffic is not that high in many countries these days, but that would depend a bit on your target audience.

Hi there :) Thank you. I do understand that first 3 places on 1st page are getting major clicks but if I am still correct 80% clicks goes throw 1 page and rest 20% searches up to 4th page . Interesting is since I put this on forum my page was on first page , 3th place and now is on 2nd page but only this keyword and it was from day to day down as somebody notice this and push my page down. Is it possible ? Other keywords which I will not mention anymore are on same place as they were. My page is www.luxuryhomegate.com would you please or any others globaly to see where my above keyword standes. Also It will help me to know which keyword suggestion toll for not so important keyword is the best in free searches. Adwords tool show only major searches and my site is new so I do understandes that is more better to go on not so important keywords. Regards

The thing is the top 3 take about 60% leaving just 20% on the first page, with 20% through to page 4. So the appeal of the link/description lower on the page plays a big part in whether any of those 44 potential visitors a day want to visit the site. I also doubt Yahoo visitors will be that high.

I have the same issue with my keyword ranking. We are actually seen such a bad result for our keywords when searching through custom location of different US states. Every time I put a state code a different and unique ranking is coming out. e.g. when I search for a leading keyword in google by putting a state code i.e. NJ or NYC, the ranking is under top 5. But when I gave a new custom location i.e. FL .. the ranking is totally different .. it didn't came under top 20 results. Can someone explain me why this has happend when we searching within a region or a country but using custom location for a particular state. Thanks Bilal

Yeah, I have at least 5 major keywords listed the first page on yahoo and bing, only 2nd or even 4th page listed on Google, but google can bring me 40% of the daily traffic to my website, while yahoo and bing could only bring less than 1%, that sucks.
