cross referencing it with google search autosuggestions (to get the most common phrases), the problem is adwords suggestion tool does not seem to even link up certain terms together as it does for the search autosuggest list.
For instance: "villas"
will draw up suggestions in google search: "villas in spain" "villas in florida" "villas in portugal" "villas in xyz"
however using the same term in adwords suggestion tool yields stats which seem not connected in any way to terms above. For instance it suggests "villas in florida" or "disney" with incredibly low search numbers, thus not representative of autosuggestions which appear in google search. Why is this so skewed? And if so how are we to know what is a true representation of what people are searching for, terms which come up in google search autosuggest box or those appearing in adwords suggestion tool.
In addition to above, google adwords tool: Some terms seems to have same numbers from month to month - are they averaging values before releasing them somehow? Ie global annual numbers divided by 12 or something crazy like that?

Adwords tool is for campaign initiation and should be used with caution, a lot of the data from Adwords Keyword Tool can be skewed. Personal suggestion, use two or more keyword tool to make sure you have enough information from a good variety of sources
