Tried to find some information on this topic but cant find any. When someone searches for a local service do they search like: "City Service" or "Service City" , for example "Dermatologist Los Angeles" or "Los Angeles Dermatologist". Another example, "Self Stoage Los Angeles" or "Los Angeles Self Storage"

I was told my another seo expert that people usually search like this: "Service City" but not sure if this is correct.

Why not eliminate the guess work from the equation?

You can filter search results by city / state using two fantastic free tools.

"Google Insights for Search"

& "Google Trends"

Thanks for the tools. My issue is with the google search tools... it show the exact same traffic when you type in City + Service or Service + City. For example...

los angeles insurance - 450,000 searches
insurance los angeles - 450,000 searches

Looks like google treats the two search terms as the same. Are there any other tools I can use?
