HI,

Happy New Year to all !

I am new to this forum.

I have an online shopping cart. I feel the keywords present in the Title and Meta don't reflect my niche market.

Hence, I wish to change most of the keywords. Would it be taken seriously or penalized by Google, Yahoo and Bing.

Kindly advice.

I think you should not worry much if your site is not ranking and even if it is ranking, I do not think it would be doing any good with the end conversions if keywords are not correct.

If you are not currently ranking for any terms that you want to rank for then you have nothing to lose. By putting in the correct keywords in your titles you will rank better for those terms.
