I just recently started using google webmaster tools and my site has been crawled.

however my keywords which i have optimised my site for , is not being displayed on my list of internal keywords.

for example i have optimised for

big red widget

however i am only seeing red widget on my list ?

is it just a case of waiting for the next crawl or should i redesgn my pages and rethink things ?

Regards and thanks

Malcolm

Generally speaking "red widget" will be a more popular and searched for keyword than "big red widget", so if you show up for the shorter keywords, that's usually a good thing.

I assume you mean that the words don't appear in the "top search queries" section? If so, it could be that "big red widget" is not particularly popular, and hence doesn't show up in Google's lists which account for keywords that apepar in results frequently.
