Hi to everybody.

I am new here. Actually, I am new in the SEO world.
I developed some time ago several a pet program which was free until now. Now I am selling it for a small fee.

As I told you, I am a total newbie in this SEO stuff but still I have a about 2000 unique visitors per day on my web site. I think that with a little bit of SEO work I can double my visitors. As I do not have money to pay a SEO company once per month, I want to do some basic SEO by my self.
So please, can you send me to a document that describes the basic steps for SEO?

I know, you may say that I can type by my self a query in Google and find the documentation by my self. I already did it, but I reach the conclusion that no information can be trusted. One site is saying something, other, is saying the same thing but in the opposite direction.

I trust you because this seems to be the best SEO forum I have found in the last two weeks, since I started to search for a beginning point.

Try Seomoz(dot)org or SEOBook(dot)com. These are great beginner resources!

Good luck! Happy SEOing!
