relevancy of keywords and their use in the title.

I used keyword discovery to find out more keywords for my site, i mean more than what I could think of earlier.

Please correct me if I am wrong.....

First, I think the number beside the keywords is the number of searches for each of of them. More the number of searches more relevant is the keyword. Since my site is nowhere in the SERPs rights now with any of these keywords, I am not picking up the KW with a high number of searches. I am choosing the keyword with a moderate number and for now I am focussing on it. So do you think I am going right?

Second, would it benefit if I put this keyword in the first position of the title? Does the position of keywords in the title matters?
