I posted this in "search engine" section second from the bottom but it was "moved" To the most appropriate subject field which is not working , says "no posts" or something like that anyway...
my original question is:
my website is PR2
I am have been working very hard to get my PR increased. i have done a lot of work and would like to see the improvement on my google search. when i type in my keyword phrase ...what tool can i use, or method to see what page number its in , on google search

, my guess is that you need more patience. Improvement in rankings does not happen overnight. It takes lots of hard work and often weeks or months of waiting.

LifeinAsia is correct - building PageRank takes time. A few things you can do are:
- submit to directories
- write articles and submit them
- Find sites that are relevant to your topic and ask for links, or do a link exchange. (Don't over do this one)

The most important thing you can do long term is create great content. When your site has helpful or interesting content, sites will link to you naturally. Also, the more content you have, the more keyword phrases your site will rank for.
