i am assessing the overall opportunity (SEM & SEO) for our business, and as i'm sure most of you would agree, this analysis starts with keywords and impressions for those keywords using various tools. from there, i'll use certain assumptions for CTR, CVR, etc. to get a few opportunity assessment scenarios.
i have done this many, many times before, but never for specific local markets. all the tools i know of and use are for all searches across the entire US (or the world), not specific markets or DMAs.
has anybody else done an analysis such as this for local markets? any suggestions on how to go about it?
