Im looking at this from another angle.
A certain large company sells a facility to webmasters where they can track what keywords are popular on competitor sites. It tells them what % of the market that competitor has in that sector and what their most popular keywords are.
With my team ive been working my absolute row out over the years building good quality content only to find that competitors will copy me and build pages on their sites which attract trafic which they have discovered from a) visiting my site and plain copying it (or making a variation of my content) or b) using a tracking tool as above so that they know which keywords to focus on.
Ive had enough now. Ive blocked my main competitors IP address so that its harder for them to visit me and copy, but i need to work out how to block these tracking tools, in particular the leading provider of this "Spyware?" tracking tool.
