searches inside "speech marks"
what percentage of searches are done like this?

does anyone know how many searches are done in this way?

for any search enginge really, if possible with a source, if not then hearsay will do :)

I think that only advanced searchers do this intentionally. Novice users would include quote marks around a phrase if that's how they think it is supposed to be written. (Not realizing it has special meaning for a search engine.)

On the strength of my intuition alone, I'd say it represents a small minority of searches (less than 10-15%).
