YouTube user/channel name has a space - how to write the feed URLs ?
gdata space name

Msg#: 4472541 posted 4:45 pm on Jul 4, 2012 (gmt 0)

For example, for 'iron wang'.

Tried gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/users/iron%20wang/uploads

gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/users/fashiontv/uploads works fine, so the URL structure is correct.

but I just get a 404.

I'm using JSON to parse the data. But I can't get this to work by typing directly into the browser either.

Tried $2B (+) and still doesn't work.

Any ideas ?

Thanks !

Is this what you're looking for:

Note, I just searched YouTube to find iron wang's channel (www.youtube.com/channel/UCL4forFfs3pyN2EvaPnMx5w/feed), and then just took note of the channel id. I don't know if there is an easier way to find that information.

%Thanks Fontiman. YT has made a change such that new usernames may not work in URLs any more :(
