Detect if SGML or XML parser is used?
Opera screwed over XHTML and no longer reliably parses XHTML applications.

Opera 11.6 really screwed XHTML over as malformed XML switches Opera's parser from XML to SGML thereby negating my use of XHTML and the ability to rely on Opera for web design and web development. I want those parse errors to show so I can fix them immediately as I always have. I will not debate HTML versus XHTML, I simply want to know if it's possible to detect which parser is being used and if so how?
