Is possible to avoid an error within Smarty for ScrollTo?

I have code like:
<a href="#" title="$(...).scrollTo( 'li:eq(15)', {duration:10000} );" class="mybuttonback">To the Top</a>

I can not use this as it shows an error inside Smarty templates.
